This Exceed And Excel filly was bought at Goffs Orby Sale from The Kilcarn Stud. She has a lovely pedigree from the Brown Sugar and Burnt Sugar family and includes plenty of black type. She was bought for the syndicate by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock. She looks as if she should be a two year old.  She is our most expensive yet at 100,000 euros.

She is quite a feisty young lady.  We thought she was going to be an early two year old but we have actually given her a bit of time as it looked as if everything was happening to fast for her.  Exceed and Excels can be a little hot so we have been trying to keep her cool and as long as we can she looks as if she might be a nice filly with a future.

She had her first race at Yarmouth at the end of August and although she was 20/1 she won nicely and looked very professional.  She has since been third carrying a 6lb penalty in another Novice Stakes to Magic J a $950,000 Yearling purchase.

She started her 2019 campaign off at Doncaster where she ran a rather disappointing race but she was carrying a bit of condition and may have got tired.
