Three Runners Next Week

At long last we are able to get SPANISH ARCHER back on the racecourse.  He has been declared for 1m2f (1m2f43y) Unison Campaigning For Public Services Handicap (Class 2) (3yo+ 0-105) on Saturday.  The ground is heavy at the moment which he hasn’t run on before but if it dried out a bit we would be more confident of a nice run from him.  He prefers the turf to all weather so we are pleased to get him back on that.  Funnily enough he had one run early on last year and then didnt run again until August which is the same as he has done this year.  He didnt like Chelmsford at all and especially as it was a Ladies day and lots of noise and tents etc etc. and certainly did not like the kick back. He didnt have a hood on last time but he will have it back on Saturday.

We hope that EXCELLED will get into the 7f 100% Profit Boost At Handicap (Class 5) (3yo 0-75) Kempton on Wednesday evening.  She needs quite a lot to come out as she is rated 77 and will be the first eliminated and will be top weight if she does get a run but is really strong filly so that should not be a problem.  She is just beginning to grow up.  Having won her first race she struggled and had to carry a 7lb penalty but is now enjoying her racing much better and her last two runs have been much more promising and she has been doing everything the right way round.  Sheis quite powerful and strong.

Kempton specialist THE PINTO KID who has won three from three is heading back for the 32RED CASINO HANDICAP (Class 4) (4yo+ 0-85) Winner £6,469 20 runners 1m3f219y.  He seems to really enjoy it round Kempton but we would love to get him back on the turf at some point.

We were planning to have our first two year old runner TURN ON THE CHARM next week at Newbury but unfortunately he sustained an overreach in a piece of work yesterday so wont be able to run now which is disappointing.
