Little PINTO Strikes Again

THE PINTO KID is not very big but he is all heart.  Running over 1m6f at Chelmsford he came from second last to win very nicely by one and a half lengths .  He is a superb little horse who loves the all weather but we may try and win on the turf with him.  I dont think he would get the 1m6f if the ground was too soft.  Tom Marquand rode him this evening and loved him but I cant imagine any jockey not loving him as he is so easy.  At home he is a really cheeky naughty little fella.  He is always trying to get his rider off when they are not concentrating but always in a playful manner.  He has a HUGE character which holds him in good stead.  He is one of the smallest horses in the yard but has the biggest box by far and has always had it.  Most horses move around but he has had that stable almost from the day he arrived here.  We thought that a 0-90 might be a bit too hot for him but if he got beaten he would go down a pound and get into 0-85’s but he has blown that out of the window now.  James had a plan for him but it took in the 1m4f  0-85 races so he will have to go back to the drawing board now.
