Exciting Times Ahead

June looks as if it s going to be a busy month for FRED ARCHER RACING with most of the older horses running in June.  we had three of them working on The Limekilns on Saturday and one worked on Wednesday.

THE TIN MAN had a nice spin up The Trial Ground which is where James likes to work him best and where we shows us if he is well or not.  We were all happy with his work on Saturday.  I think it is well documented that he is very lazy doing his everyday work but we can always judge how he is by his faster work on The Trial Ground.  He had his usual workmate ENVISAGING who The Ormonde Partners bought specially as a mate for THE TIN MAN.  He has come on a lot for his race at Windsor and we are happy to heading Royal Ascot.

MASTER ARCHER worked well with George Wood riding on The Long Gallop.  He looked to be thoroughly enjoying himself.  He ran a bit disappointingly at Newmarket first time out this year but I think he will run a much better race next time. He looks great.  He may go to Goodwood next Sunday or the same track on Friday 14th June.

We are hoping to get SPANISH ARCHER out this Saturday at Newmarket but he wouldnt want the ground to be too firm.  We haven’t been able to get a run into him so far this year so very much looking forward to getting him back on track.  If he doesn’t go to Newmarket he may head to Haydock on the 12th June.  He was ridden by Dan Muscutt in the gallop.

On Wednesday we worked our little superstar ARCHERS DREAM on the Limekilns on Wednesday.  She has surpassed all expectations by winning her first two races really nicely.  She isnt very big but she is very fast.  She may easily head to a Listed race next.  the idea is to go to Salisbury on the 16th June if the ground is suitable failing tht to Ayr for a 5f race on the 22nd which is the same day as The Diamond Jubilee.  The handicapper has rated her 94.

Over the next week or so we should also be running THE PINTO KID.  We also have the two year olds TURN ON THE CHARM and PENPAL are both looming up for a run in the next month.
