ARCHER’S DREAM Runs At Doncaster Today

ARCHER’S DREAM is not a very big filly but she has a big heart and we are hoping she can prove it today.  She won her first two races very well and the first of them was at Doncaster so we know she likes the track.  In her third race which was a Listed race it was very soft ground and she only got her home and dead heated with Snazzy Jazzy.  Today she is running over 5f for the first time which we think will suit her but in an ideal world would have preferred the ground to be good rather than good to firm.  She has to carry a penalty for the Listed win and she is only a three year old filly taking on some hardened older sprinters.

ARCHERS DREAM 30.7.19

She wasn’t really herself at York and we had a quiet spell at the time hopefully we will see a different filly today.

THE TIN MAN looks amazing since his second in The Haydock Sprint.  He is so happy and very fresh.  We will be planning to keep him this way  before we start working him again prior to the Qipco Champion Sprint.  It will be his fifth run in the race.

SPANISH ARCHER looks great after his race at Haydock in very testing conditions.  We are giving TURN ON THE CHARM plenty of time to get over his first race at Kempton the other day but he looks good.

SOCIETY PRINCE was quite sore on his return from Thirsk where he ran no race at all. He is just walking and trotting this week and we will re-assess him at the end of the week or beginning of next.   Racing is a great leveller as it was only a few weeks ago we were celebrating his win at Yarmouth after 661 days off the track and getting excited about his future and were abruptly brought down to earth last Saturday.  It was far too bad to be true and hopefully we can get him bouncing again very soon.  He has a wonderful patient lot of owners who have been marvellous.
