ARCHER’S DREAM Home Safe & Sound

ARCHER’S DREAM arrived home nine days after her run in The Prix de L’Abbaye having torn a muscle, we think coming out of the stalls.  She was in a lot of pain after the race and for several days afterwards.  She was taken to The Chantilly Veterinary Clinic where she was very well looked after.  It was a worry that she might have fractured something but after scanning her nothing was found to suggest that.  Everyday there is an improvement and luckily she is a  great patient. She has walks morning and evening and gets turned out twice a day.  The decision has been made that we don’t want to put her through anymore trauma on the racecourse and she will head to the December Sales where we hope she will be bought to go to stud.  She has a lovely pedigree as she is out of the mare BADR AL BADOOR who was trained by James Fanshawe and who is a half sister to Profitable.  We have ARCHER’S DREAM’S two year old half brother HICKORY by Free Eagle who we like a lot and who won his one and only race as a two-year-old well at Yarmouth.
