FAR Could Have Three Runners This Week

We could easily have three runners this week if EXCELLED (declared for Yarmouth on Tuesday), LORD GEORGE and MAGICAL DREAMER all get to run.  EXCELLED was bought at Goffs exactly a year ago and with THE TIN MAN is our most expensive purchase so far.  She has only had one run so far but won very nicely at 20/1.  She is going back to the place of her victory, Yarmouth, but this time she is having to take on the colts but does have to give away so much weight to them as she gets her fillies allowance.  There is one filly in the race which is the unraced Godolphin horse and we do have to give her 5lbs. She is in good form at home and we hope she goes and runs a nice race again.  There are only eight in the race this time whereas when she won there were thirteen.

EXCELLED wins the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at the first time of asking.

It seems as if LORD GEORGE does better on the all weather but he has won on good to firm ground at Yarmouth and if it stays good to firm we hope to run him as he is ready for a run.  He looks great.  He had a bad time before he ran in The Northumberland Plate as he had to have some anti biotics as he got a really nasty infection in one of his hind legs and although we did realise it at the time it knocked him for six and it took a long time for him to get over it.  He looks back in good form now and he has done some nice work.

Our final runner of the week will be MAGICAL DREAMER who has already won three times this year and looks fantastic.  She may go up to Ayr for The Al Maktoum Cup Arran Scottish Fillies’ Sprint Stakes (Listed Race).  We would love to get some black type for her and there are not a lot of opportunities for her left  She will be entered in a Gp3 at Newbury on Saturday just to have a look but I suspect it may be too hot for her.  She didnt do very well last time we ran her in a Gp3 at York but it is not a good place for quite a highly strung filly with the lead up over the Knavesmire.  She bounced back from that run to win a nice handicap at Chelmsford very easily and is now rated 98.

Magical Dreamer winning at Chelmsford
